Hi! I'm Skye Lee Smith

architectural watercolor artist based in Indianapolis, IN.

I have been creating watercolor art for over 15 years, and graduated from Herron School of Art and Design in 2015.

​

After my partner and I bought our first home together, I painted a portrait of it, and Lovely Homes began soon after!

 

We realized that the idea of "home" is more than just the 4 walls that keep you warm at night. It's about the memories, and the heartaches, and all the loveliness that is kept within those 4 walls.  ​

In 2021, I resigned from my job as a middle school art teacher to pursue my childhood dream of being a full time artist.
